The Preamble

"We the people of the United States,
in order to form a more perfect union,
establish justice,
insure domestic tranquility,
provide for the common defense,
promote the general welfare,
and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution ofor the United States of America"

THE PRESIDENT ORDER

For a full quiz grade:

IF you can recite to either Mrs. Brown or the Americorps members all 43 presidents of the United States of America in order.
( Last name, unless there are two presidents with the same last name, then you would have to specify.... i.e. Theodore Roosevelt and Franklin Roosevelt or the Bushes.)

You will receive a 100% on 1 quiz that you take after you do this extra credit project.

So say for example you came to us on Monday and recited all 43 presidents correctly, then if we had a quiz on Tuesday and you did not feel like taking it, then you can say "Mr. Angelo or Ms. Alissa... I'm not feeling this quiz today, and you could use this for that quiz.

or maybe if Mrs. Brown allows it, you could drop your lowest quiz score.....

either way, its a wonderful way to get points and learn who your presidents were......

Also, if you pleasure and enjoyment....... "and on your own time" you should check out the following website:

Political Quiz Show

http://www.madrabbit.net/webrabbit/quizshow.html

This is a survey I had the students in 305 take to determine whether they were "liberal" or "conservative". If you forgot what it means to be either "Liberal" or "conservative" look back in your constitution book on page 21 at the bottom to refresh your memory. You can use the link at the top to retake the quiz or to take it for the first time if you have not.

CONSTITUTION DAZE

Hey 305 and 306

Here is the web blog that I promised you all. This blog was made for us to interact outside of class. From discussing topics dealing with the constitution and issues involving social studies.
On this blog you will be able to :

review quiz answers,
get homework assignments,
make comments on issues discussed in class.
review notes
and look at links that Alissa, Anastasia, and myself believe relate to what we are studying.

This is not a social website for students to be passing notes each other. Nor is it the time for you to post inappropiate messages. Mrs. Brown and Mr. Flores along with the Americorps Volunteers will be monitoring this website to make sure that it remains academic. You are to behave on this website just like you would behave in the classroom.

With that said..............
